Since we talked about the female and their data dealing with height and arm span lets talk about the males. Below there is the regression plot for males dealing with their heights and their arm spans.
As you can clearly see there is a big difference just from the females to males just by viewing the plot. You can see there is not a lot of data points that are actually on the line. Those some of the data is in clusters there is still a weaker strength. There are some human error involved with the male’s data but not a bunch.
There seems to be a slight linear line gathering in this plot but it is hard to tell if these points form a clear linear line or not. Lets take a look at the equation for this line. This line is telling us when the height of a man is at zero the arm span is at 136.1 centimeters. The equation also tells us that for every one centimeter that is added to the height a total of .24 centimeters are added to the man’s arm span. |
