The project calls for a breakdown of the genders. This shows just the relation because the height of woman to the measurement of their arm span. Below is the least square regression line.
As you can see, the line has a large amount of cluster at the top. This having a positive direction going from the bottom left to the top right. Because of the human error that was done while collecting the data point, it throws off an almost linear line. You could say without the human error added that these points collected the shape is close to linear.
When the height of a person is at zero the equation says that, automatically, the arm span is at 82.4 centimeters. As one centimeter is added to the height of that person a total of .49 centimeters are added to the arm span. |
Now lets look at the residual plot for the female’s height and their arm spans. You can see that most of all the data that was collected lands on the line of close to it. This does not included the human error. This does mean that when just talking about females and talking about the relationship the correlation between the two proportions have some kind of strong connection.
